
Our dietitian Juliee taught the participants what is a balance diet. She mentioned our food basically divided by 5 groups, including: carbohydrate (starch, bread, rice), protein(meat, egg), vegetable, fruit and oil. And we better have a balance of every kind of food every meal.
We need to have at least 3 oz of protein intake every meal.
For people who have diabates, they need to avoid intake too much carbonhydrate and replace with more vegetable. We have learned a very good lesson.
