We have our cooking class yesterday. Lakana, the social worker taught us how to mix up the flour, butter, sugar and vanilla favour, and make the delicious cookies. The participants were having a good time!

- Ultralife ADHC is a licensed community-based day care program located in Monterey Park. We provide a variety of health, therapeutic, and social services to those who need physical or mental health services. The center is licensed by the California Department of Public Health and certified for participation in the Medi-Cal Program by the California Department of Aging. We have been serving the community for more than 10 years.
Eligibility Criteria for Services
Adults 18+ who have physical or mental functional impairments will be benefited from our center. We provide organized activities, social and health services to help particiapants to achieve and maintain health and independence.
Scope of Services
. Physician Services: Personal physicians is responsible for the particpants and works closely with center physician.
. Nursing Services: Observes and monitors health status of participants, including medication management and health education.
. Psychological Services: Provides home evaluation, individual and family supportive counseling, providing community information and referral. Psychotherapy and assessment are available by referral.
. Rehabilitation: Physical therapy and occupational therapy are available to meet each participant's needs.
. Nutrition: Provide heathy hot meals, nutrition education and counseling.
.Transportation: Specially equipped vehicles are availabled to delivery participants within serve area.
.Recreational and Social Activities: Organizated activities including exercises, arts and crafts, cooking class, music, table games etc.

Service Area
Ultralife Adult Day Health Care accept applicants who reside in the San Gabriel Valley, including Monterey Park, Montebello, Rosemead, El Monte, South El Monte, Temple City, San Gabriel, Arcadia, San Marino, South Pasadena and East Los Angeles.
Multicultural
Other than English, our staffs are able to provide services to those who prefer using their native language. Current available languages including: Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), Spanish, Vietnamese and Cambodian.
Cost of Services
Participants with Medi-Cal are free to attend.
We also accept private pay participants with the rate relevant to Medi-Cal reimbursement fee schedule.
